Children begging alms on city streets rescued

Mangaluru: A few children of migrant families who were found begging alms in different parts of the city have been rescued with the help of Child Line and other departments.
If some of the rescued children belonged to vagabond families from Maharashtra which had tented in the railway station area here, others were spotted begging near Hampankatta, bus stand, State Bank and other areas. The rescued children have been produced before the CWC and presently temporary rehabilitation arrangement has been made for them.
