Lolly Lakshman gets a new lease of life
PUTTUR : A young man who was selling Lolly (plastic sachet pepsi) in the Uppinangady bus stand area had gone missing all of a sudden four months ago. He was later traced at the Kedambady bus stand at Manjeshwar in a mentally disturbed state and was shifted to the Snehalaya rehabilitation home for destitutes. Thanks to the compassionate treatment given to him, today the young man known as Lolly Lakshman has got a fresh lease of life.
The youth who is the son of Prema of Kunthur village of Puttur was eking out a living selling Lollies in the Uppinangady bus stand area. One day he went missing all of a sudden with no one aware of his whereabouts. A case of missing was also filed in Kadaba police station. Search for him went in vain and he was finally traced one fine day on the roadside at Manjeshwar in a rugged state. Joseph of Snehalaya had then taken him to his rehabilitation home and ensured good treatment to him. Presently Lolly Lakshman is back home,is hale and hearty and more importantly a happy man.
